India celebrated its 78th Independence Day today with grand ceremonies, flag hoistings, and cultural programs across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag at the Red Fort in New Delhi, addressing the nation on the governmentโs achievements and outlining the vision for the coming years.
In his speech, the Prime Minister highlighted advancements in infrastructure, digital economy, and renewable energy, while reaffirming Indiaโs commitment to becoming a developed nation by 2047. He also paid tribute to freedom fighters and armed forces personnel for their service and sacrifice.
State capitals and district headquarters across India witnessed similar celebrations, with chief ministers and local leaders participating in flag hoisting events. Schools, colleges, and community organizations organized parades, patriotic performances, and awareness drives.
